Baking day

Baked a good bit this afternoon.  Getting geared up for the Farmers market with oatcake practice. Made a nice big batch of Sundried tomato oatcakes, using a new sundried tapenade for flavour. They look pretty good and smell divine! Will be taking them to the CatStrand tomorrow for Choir practice!

I also had a second bash at Vegan Chocolate fudge cake. It seems to have come out extremely well! Apples for the win!

Dalry Farmers’ Market

Just under two weeks to go. Packaging has arrived, got all my new baking trays and flashy guides and stuff. Mum is kindly working on an awesome stand for the stall. All that’s left is a baking frenzy!  Quite exciting really,  it’s the first step along the path on a big year.
I have other, very exciting projects waiting in the wings too that will be revealed at a later date. Watch this space!

Moving Forward

So many things in the offing this year, so much change on it’s way. It’s oatcakes, music and stories for me this year, with a dash of localism and a seasoning of study. Perhaps I will even manage to keep this blog this year. Certainly this is my second entry since Hogmanay!
